The Role:

The Digital Records Officer supports the digitisation, organisation and secure management of school records, ensuring accuracy, accessibility and compliance with data governance and retention requirements across Carey’s campuses.
This role is fixed-term full time for 12-months.

The Average Day:
  • Preparing physical documents for scanning, including removing staples, clips and bindings
  • Scanning documents and performing quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Uploading, indexing and categorising records in SharePoint using agreed naming conventions
  • Transporting records between locations and securely destroying documents in line with retention policies
  • Maintaining scanning equipment and keeping logs of scanning activities and exceptions
The Person:
To be successful in this position, you will have:
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to process high volumes accurately
  • An understanding of confidentiality, privacy and data security requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using digital systems such as SharePoint
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • A positive, customer-focused approach and willingness to learn new systems and processes
A valid Employee Working with Children Check is a requirement of employment for this position.
